What I Offer

Learning how to play a string instrument can help individuals improve their memory, increase their attention span, enhance their imagination, and even develop social skills. If you’re interested in taking violin lessons, contact me at mikeflessons@gmail.com.

I offer in-person lessons to clients in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Virtual Lessons to interested students anywhere.

Direction

Everyone needs help getting to their goals. Each time we meet, I will check in with you about your goals and provide feedback about how to move toward them. Whether your end goal is just playing in front of friends or a formal audition, we'll work together to  achieve your dream.

Encouragement

Developing a rapport with my students is my first priority. We will work together to meet goals through encouragement and when needed, gentle course corrections. You'll find me eager to answer your questions so you can make quick progress.

Structure and Discipline

No one progresses in a skill without structured practice.  We end each lesson with a clear guide for the week ahead, so you will know  how to organize practice time and complete exercises that help develop the proper technique.

Enjoyment

Music is fun! I aim to inspire you to appreciate the art and craft of string instruments.

Of course, it is always more fun to play a musical instrument at a higher level!  We'll celebrate your achievements along the way and get you playing meaningful music quickly!
